i’m alex — the face behind dove & veil, and i’m SO happy you’re here.

I’m bubbly, probably overly excited about your wedding, and very emotionally invested in people I’ve sometimes only known for a few months. I will 100% cry during your vows, tear up during your first dance, and be just as excited about the photos as you are when something beautiful is happening in front of my camera.

I love photographs that feel elevated and intentional, but I never want your wedding day to feel like one big photoshoot. I’ll give you direction when you need it, fix your veil, fluff your dress, keep an eye on the timeline, and then step back when the moment deserves to just happen. Dove & Veil was built around everything I love about photography. A little editorial, a little nostalgic, a little imperfect. Film grain, beautiful details, movement, flash, the quiet in-between moments and the kind of photographs that somehow feel like memories the second you see them.

At the end of the day, I want you to have really, really beautiful photographs. But I also want you to remember how much fun we had making them.
